BUSINESS DEVEMOPMENT MANAGER
Business Development Manager required in Newcastle under Lyme to develop our growing business as one of the leading European distributor of industrial materials. An attractive remuneration package will be available to the right candidate who will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:-
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
- BA in Business
- Previous experience working with industrial materials and chemicals
- Familiarity of Opera II information System
- Confident and tactful telephone manner
- Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong leadership skills and should be able to manage and motivate a wide range of subordinates
- Attention to detail, excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills are vital
- Ability to prioritise jobs under pressure
- Ability to anticipate the changing needs of customers and clients
- Outgoing and friendly and exceptional at building client rapport
- Undertaking tasks as required to source products specifically from Asia
- Undertake presentations to potential new and existing clients and analyse their requirements
- Consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products and in particular to develop new Asian sources of materials
- To liaise intragroup via group product managers
- To work along the sales department in the growth of new and existing business
- To travel to foreign markets as and when required
The reward is a salary of up to £26,000.00 per annum for a 30 hour week plus holidays and excellent working conditions.
